Apple’s next-generation iPad Mini is almost certain to sport a Retina display (if recent reports are anything to go by) and according to recent reports by DigiTimes we may see the iPad Mini in early 2014. However, DigiTimes has now quoted a new source who claims the next-generation iPad Mini with Retina display will hit shelves this October.
The source then went on to claim that LG, Apple’s display manufacturer, is making considerable headway in its production of Retina displays and plans to ship 2-3 million units per month up till the October release date of the next-generation iPad Mini.
The next-generation iPad Mini is also expected to be lighter and thinner as well as sporting a Retina display much like that seen on Apple’s current generation iPad.
